Downloader for PC

There is no official version of Downloader for Windows or macOS. Downloader is built for Android-based systems — its job is to download files onto your Android TV, Fire TV or Android TV Box, not onto a computer.

Why doesn't Downloader run on PC?

Downloader's entire purpose is to install APK files that aren't in the Play Store or Amazon Appstore. Windows and macOS don't use APK packages, so there is nothing for Downloader to install on a computer.

What to use on a PC instead

If you want to download files or sideload apps for an Android device from your computer, transfer the APK directly using a USB cable and a file manager, or use your browser to download files and send them to your TV over your local network.

To use Downloader itself, install it on an Android TV, Fire TV Stick, or Android TV Box.
