Downloader for Samsung Smart TV

Samsung Smart TVs run Samsung's own Tizen operating system, not Android — so the Downloader app cannot be installed directly from the Samsung Smart Hub store.

How to use Downloader with a Samsung TV

The workaround is to add an Android TV device to your Samsung TV over HDMI, then install Downloader on that device instead:

1. Connect a Fire TV Stick, Chromecast with Google TV, or an Android TV Box to an HDMI port on your Samsung TV.
2. Switch your Samsung TV's input to that HDMI port.
3. Install Downloader on the connected device from its app store.
